RECOVERY "Rehabilitate Historic Meriwether Lewis Site", NATR 48183, TAS 14-1040, NAISC Code 517110, "This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act" The National Park Service is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements) with AT&T, Inc., Birmingham, AL 35243. This requirement is to remove and replace telephone and fiberoptics lines underground at the Meriwether Lewis Monument within the Natchez Trace Parkway, 189 Meriwether Lewis Park, Hohenwald, TN 38462. AT&T will own and be responsible for all future service and maintenance for equipment and lines installed. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1, this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
