The purpose of this amendment is to accomplish the following: 1.) Correct the response due date to Wednesday, October 19, 2022 by 5:00 p.m. MDT . 2) Address questions and answers. See attached Questions and Answers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), 1240LP23Q0001 . (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08. (iv) This procurement is set aside for 100% Total Small Business . The NAICS code is 325314 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. (v) A list of line item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure (including option(s), if applicable). (vi) The Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands, Bessey Nursery has a requirement for Greenhouse Growing Media for use in Tree Nursery Production of approximately 8,262 cu ft or three (3) truck loads. The average truck load holds 2,754 cubic feet of mix packaged in 81 cubic feet bags. (vii) Delivery Date: December 5, 2022; Place of Delivery: Bessey Nursery, 40637 River Loop. Halsey, NE 69142. (viii) Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition and addenda: Quoters must submit a sample of their media to the Bessey Nursery, PO Box 39, Halsey, NE 69142 when they submit a quote if using US Postal Service. If using FedEx or UPS ship to 40637 River Loop, Halsey, NE 69142 Offerors must have an active entity registration in the System for Award Management in order to submit an offer. https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ Technical – All quotes are to include a certified list of ingredients, a price quote per cubic foot, including shipping or fuel surcharges, and a proposed packaging size.
