The United States Postal Service intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract(s) with flexibility in purchase options to one or more prequalified suppliers. The purpose of this project is to provide renewable energy solutions through the installation of stand alone solar technologies to offset the energy cost at selected United States Postal Service (USPS) owned facilities. As the project advances it is anticipated that six to twenty-five sites ranging from 100 kilowatts to 2 megawatts will be added to the program every two years.
