19AQMM19N0005 Request for Information (RFI) Copier and Printer Paper Agency: Department of State Office: Global Publishing Solutions (A/GIS/GPS) Notice Type: Sources Sought Purpose This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals or Quotes (RFP or RFQ) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire anything. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The Department of State, Global Publishing Solutions Branch, of the Bureau of Administration is seeking information regarding the attached requirement for paper. Please carefully review the paper specifications and respond according to the directions following stated below. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential vendors that have GSA Schedule contracts or GWACs and that are interested in supplying copier and printer paper for Department of State domestic offices. Information provided in response to this RFI will be used by the U.S. Department of State (DOS) in developing its acquisition strategy, including but not limited to: (a) Requirements definition and determination of commercial availability; (b) Logical grouping of items for a single competition or multiple competitions (c) Decision to make single or multiple awards under each competition; (d) Socio-economic set-aside decisions; (e) Potential use of existing government-wide contract vehicles; Responses should provide the following information and respond to the questions below: 1. What options or specifications were not included in the statement of work but available? e. What would you suggest for improving the statement of work to assure that DOS can obtain the steepest discounts? Do not include the following in the response: 1.
