Service will be delivered to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract (as prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1) to EBSCO Information Services, 10 Estes Street, Ipswich, MA 01938. EBSCO Information Services is the sole provider of the databases that the Army Public Health Command is renewing. Powered by EBSCOhost, these databases contain functionality that is proprietary which makes EBSCO Information Services the only vendor capable of providing the Database and Journal renewal. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511120 and the Business Size Standard is 500. Posting date of this requirement is 13 September 2013. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
