The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a Sole Source contract to PowerSchool Group, 150 Parkshore Dr, Folsom, CA, 9563, for the continued use of the GradeSpeed online teacher gradebook, parent portal and text messaging module. The anticipated period of performance is one 9-month base period followed by up to two 12-month option periods. This is a continuation of DoDEA's current contract for these items, which are configured to work with DoDEA's current Student Information System (SIS). DoDEA expects to transition to a new gradebook that is available within our current SIS, but need to first test, pilot and train users on the use of the new gradebook before it can be implemented. Until this new gradebook is implemented, DoDEA requires continuity of its current Gradespeed licenses to bridge the gap between the current and new online gradebook. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement by the response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
