68--Provision and Delivery of chemicals used in base operation plants and swimming pools

The Public Works Division at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for provision and delivery of various types of chemicals to be used at base water treatment plants, steam plants, wastewater treatment plants, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The contractor shall supply all chemicals, transportation and services to deliver at multiple sites throughout the base. It is the Government’s intent to issue a requirements type contract IAW FAR 52.216-21 REQUIREMENTS (OCT 1995). This procurement is set aside 100% for small business participation only, pursuant to the Small Business Act and other statutory and regulatory requirements. The Small Business Administration has established size standards for this industry as follows: NAICS: 424690 Size Standard: 100 employees The period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to be for a base period not to exceed twelve (12) months and four one-year option periods.
