U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to solicit on a limited source basis under the statutory authority permitting Limited Sources as implemented by FAR 8.405(b)(1), Items Peculiar to One Manufacturer to Objective Interface Systems, Inc. (CAGE: OVF73), 220 Spring Street, Suite 530, Herndon, VA 20170-6201 for the procurement of 2 ORBexpress RT Maintenance Renewals. This notice is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 0900am EST, 20 February 2014. All information submitted shall support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Replies shall be in writing via electronic mail (e-mail) and shall provide clear and concise documentation demonstrating an offeror's bona fide competence to provide these items.
