This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subparts 12.6 and 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested; a written solicitation will not be issued. The NOAA requires 2500 copies of the publication entitled ?Guide to Sharks, Tunas & Billfishes of the U.S. Atlantic & Gulf of Mexico.? This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation. The NAICS code is 511130, Book Publishers. The NAICS code cited in this Request for Quotation is for internal business size stratification purposes only and is not meant to restrict this procurement to small businesses Contractor proposals shall include all pricing including shipping to Silver Spring, MD. The resulting purchase order will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. The Government may award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
