A -- Incorporating Human Dimensions into an Integrated Assessment for the Dry Tortugas Ecological Reserve

The Department of Commerce(DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA), National Ocean Service(NOS), National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science Center intends to award on a sole source basis with the University of Massachusetts-Amherst 70 Butterfield Terrace, Amherst, MA 01003-9242 for research incorporating a human dimensions integrated assessment for the Dry Tortugas. This is a follow on to a previous requirement. This information is necessary to 1) complete an initial draft framework for incorporating human dimensions into an integrated assessment for the Tortugas Ecological Reserve, 2) conduct a review of the human dimensions research relevant to the Tortugas Ecological Reserve, and 3) produce a final summary document which will be a component of the Integrated Assessment report for the Tortugas Ecological Reserve. Notwithstanding the Government’s intent to negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis with the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by NOAA. Responses must be received within 15 days of the posting of this notice.
