Solicitation Number: W91247-11-R-0025 Notice Type: Special Notice The Mission Contracting Office - Fort Bragg (MCO-FB), North Carolina intends to award on a sole source basis, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), a contract to A&T Systems Inc., 12200 Tech Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20904-7871. The Contractor provided support includes Voice Communications and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) services used by the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC). This requirement is for a nine (9) month bridge for a period of performance from 29 September 2011 to 29 June 2012 (dates subject to change dependent upon award) plus two (2) 1-month option periods. The sole source will allow the Government enough time to solicit, negotiate, and award a competitive acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 517110 Wired Telecommunications Carriers. This is not a request for competitive proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. A request for proposal will be posted in the near future to engage industry for the follow-on requirement. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet the requirement. If no affirmative written response is received, this requirement will be awarded without further notice.
