Rebuilding of Lister Petter/Onan Engines, NSN 2815-01-350-2205, P/N DN2M-1 and NSN 2815-01-350-2206, P/N DN4M-1 - This will be a requirements contract with a base year and two option years. An estimated 300 of each engine will be rebuilt annually or 25 of each engine per month. These engines are part of the PATRIOT missile system generator set. The period of performance for the base year will begin 01/15/05 - 01/14/06 followed by sequential option years. Orders will be issued as requirements materi alize. Engines will have to be picked up at and returned to Letterkenny Army Depot. Turn around time for rebuild will be thirty (30) days. Offerors must have experience in the remanufacture of at least one of the engine models within the last two years and provide dynamometer reports and production records to verify this experience. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close pri or to the annotated closing date. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
