99 -- Document Delivery Services

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Agricultural Library (NAL), intends to issue a solicitation for document delivery and associated services. The anticipated solicitation released date is approximately July 5, 2006. Potential requirements include to shelving, billing data entry, and onsite document retrieval service for NAL reading room patrons. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of providing document service from both NAL collection (over 3.5 million items) and through interlibrary borrowing. NAL serves both USDA and the U.S. and international library community, and receives approximately 80,000 document delivery requests per year.
