THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR SULZER METCO MODEL TWIN 10-V OR EQUAL POWDER FEEDER. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to increase the quantity required from 1 EA to 2 EA, outline selection procedures, and amend procedures for submission of both questions and offers as follows: Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable company. Companies shall provide evidence that their product meets the requirements listed in the basic combo synopsis/solicitation posted on October 11, 2005. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/MSFC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=62 . Offerors are required to use the On-line RFQ System to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ System may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr+C&pin+ . The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. Questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferable to [email protected]) no later than Friday, 10/14/2005. Facsmile questions may be faxed to (256) 544-5861. In the unusual case where a quote cannot be submitted in the On-line RFQ System, offers may be submitted by e-mail to [email protected], (Digital Fusion, Inc.)or faxed to (256) 544-5861. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, October 21, 2005.
