Military Vertical Wind Tunnel Training

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure services for the Airborne Mobile Training Team (AMTT) who require a Vertical Wind Tunnel (VMT) and a VMT operator within 200 miles of MCB Quantico. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above products and services to the firm of to iFLY Virginia Beach, located at 2412 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, Va 23451. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: This requirement will be for one year. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
