16 -- Amendment 3 to Reprocurement of Spare/Repair Parts under USZA95-02-R-0029

AMENDMENT 3 to USZA95-02-R-0029 (Reprocurement of Spare/Repair Parts for MD500 Series and MELB aircraft) The purpose of this Amendment is to: 1. Remove the brand name restriction in this solicitation by adding the following clause to Sections "H", "L", and "M". FAA/PMA parts specifically approved as substitutes by the FAA for the specific part number listed in this solicitation may be offered as a substitute for the listed part subject to the following: Contractors shall submit complete copies of FAA/PMA certifications for all proposed FAA/PMA parts not already listed by specific part number in the solicitation. Consideration for award of FAA/PMA parts will be limited to those parts verified at time of final assessment of offerors for award. Parts verified will not be added to the solicitation to preserve the confidentiality of proposal information, but will added to individual contractor award documents. 2. Clarify that award will be made to the technically acceptable, lowest price offeror with satisfactory past performance. As specified in Amendment 2, past performance will be graded satisfactory/unsatisfactory. 3. Advise offerors that all amendments and clarifications associated with solicitation will be posted on the Fed BizOps.gov website only. 4. Extend the response date of this solicitation to 17 September 2002. 5. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
