The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), in Beltsville, MD, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures with ATIZ Innovation, Inc, 1680 VINE ST STE 1208, LOS ANGELES, CA, 90028-8844, for USDA/ARS (1) BookDrive PRO Complete Package-Includes (2) Canon EOS Rebel T3i Cameras, (2) 35mm lenses & (2) Adapters, and (1)BookDrive MINI Complete Package-Includes (2) Canon EOS Rebel T3i Cameras,(2) Zoom lenses & (2) Adapters, along with warranties and training and installation. The circumstance permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1(b)(2) and 41 USC 253(c)(1), The existence of limited rights in data, patent rights, copyrights, or secret processes; the control of basic raw material; or similar circumstances, make the supplies and services available from only one source. NIFA needs this technology to scan bound books in their goal to create a paperless environment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 454390 is applicable.
