R and D Support to Modify a Northrop Grumman AN/APN-241 radar system to develop an Anti Ship Missile (ASM) Simulator

The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with Northrop Grumman for Research and Development Services. The work is for modifications of a Northrop Grumman AN/APN-241 radar system. Northrop Grumman shall provide engineering expertise to support NRL as it investigates the means to modify the AN/APN-241 radar for use as a hardware simulator of an anti ship missile. The AN/APN-241 radar system that will be modified under this effort is proprietery to Northrop Grumman and is only available from this vendor. This is not a solicitation.
